Strength is going to be the primary stat for weapon builds. Intelligence same for shard builds. Constitution and Mind are generally not worth investing into as all they do is give more Def/MDef and it's usually easier to just flat out get better Def instead.  Strength is going to be the primary stat for weapon builds.  +===Luck===

Luck despite many people loving the stat is honestly very lacking, the critical chance isn't high enough to compete with the Str/Int stats in pure damage output, and the drop rates are barely noticeable until very heavy investment into luck. The notable exception is Plunder Ring which just gives you a flat +25% drop rate to all non shards, the most efficient way of farming is maxing out Str or Int and slap on 2 Plunder Rings, to kill the enemy as fast as you can with the 2 Plunders equipped, reset and repeat. Luck despite many people loving the stat is honestly very lacking, the critical chance isn't high enough to compete with the Str/Int stats in pure damage output, and the drop rates are barely noticeable until very heavy investment into luck.  +===Mana===
 +
+Mana Per Second is generally put always useful and separate from gear, since they're permanent bonuses you get from certain food, specifically the drinks. Notably you can get the first after getting the "Drinks/R" recipe book after Abyssal Guardian mini boss. It's going to be crucial for any Shard builds, but it's generally something you want no matter what for any build. You can get away without it if you make a weapon build using a weapon that doesn't use much or any Techniques (like Greatsword).
 +
 +===Defence===

Defence is a very important or almost useless stat depending on the player skill. If you're good enough you can largely ignore it entirely and just pick whatever gear gives the best Str/Int bonus. But most people aren't quite there, and I recommend upgrading Def as often as you feel the need to. Generally put you can sacrifice 1-2 pieces of gear, preferably the ones with the smallest amount of Str/Int for gear that gives more Def instead. Defence is a very important or almost useless stat depending on the player skill.  This means spell-slinger becomes much more feasible once you beat the Abyssal Guardian mini boss, and can get to the Drinks/R recipe book, you can then craft all 4 drinks for +4 MP/S. Combine with one or two of the gear pieces that increases MP/S and they play style becomes much more enjoyable, and much less downtime. This means spell-slinger becomes much more feasible once you beat the Abyssal Guardian mini boss, and can get to the Drinks/R recipe book, you can then craft all 4 drinks for +4 MP/S.  +====Luck Build====
 +
+There's always questions about Luck Builds, and while luck certainly works better in BS than in most/any of the old Castlevania games, it's honestly still not enough to make a build around. That being said, it's still popular, especially in Normal difficulty where you can compensate for running a poor build with how easy enemies are and how well certain things scale with stats.
 +
+To start with I'd never recommend a "Luck Build" until the very end game, there just isn't enough gear to give noticeable amounts of Luck before the very end. And you generally need good weapons or shards to compensate for not having any bonus stats for damage, and usually not running the proper passive shards for it either.
 +
+So the earliest point I can say a Luck build is even possible is after you got Invert, so you can get the Valkyrie chest-piece. And obviously, never ever use a luck build against a boss, that's just handicapping yourself since anything they drop will be 100% drop chance anyway.
 +
+If you're planning to use Shard damage, you obviously want all the MPS drinks, and farm somewhere near candles that you can easily re-spawn by going in and out of the room to quickly fill up your MP again. If building weapon, just generally pick the highest damage weapon that you can stomach using that doesn't need Techniques to do damage. Greatswords are optimal for this.
 +
+But over-all, the best luck build you can run, will almost always be either the Str or Int builds above, and just replace the accessories with Plunder Rings. Those are so good they dwarf any advantage you get from actual luck stats.
 +
 +Accessories:
 +  * Plunder Ring
+  * Solomon's Ring (Only if grinding shards)
+  * Gebel's Glasses (if using shard damage for infinite mp)
 +Body:
+  * Valkyrie Dress (Available once you get Invert)
+  * Kalasiris (Just get the Valkyrie instead)
 +Head:
 +  * Ribbon
 +  * Valkyrie Tiara
 +Back:
+  * Bunny Scarf (But honestly +2 luck is so weak, use something else)
+  * Flame Scarf (For weapon builds)
+  * Faerie Scarf (For shard build)
 +Books:
 +  * Fortune Tome
 +  * Godsend Tome (70% map completion)
 +Yellow Shards:
+  * Augment Luck (Generally doesn't do enough to have it equipped)
+  * Augment Int (If you use shard damage, use this instead)
+  * Weapon Master (If you use weapon damage, use this instead)
 +Weapons:
+  * Greatsword: Deathbringer, Eternal Blue
+  * Katana: Grand Izayoi, Mikazuki, Zangetsuto
+  * Spear: Black Dragon's Ode, Gae Assail, Sculptor's Chisel
+  * Whip: Ambivalence, Andromeda, Albireo
 +Red Shards:
+  * Va Ischa (Just generally all round good that works everywhere)
+  * Summon Hellhound (highest damage, eats up your MP, best used with Gebels Glasses)
 +Purple Shards:
+  * 8-bit Fire Ball (highest damage, low cost)
+  * Bolide Blast (all over decent, can stun lock enemies)
+  * Chisel Barrage (Only use with Gebel's Glasses)
+  * Teps Oceus (Only good in Normal difficulty, mentioned because a lot of players swear it's a good damage shard)
+  * Tiz Rosain (Only good when constantly activated/canceled instantly)
 +
 +----
 +
+Example build, but there really isn't that much variety to it, since you get the useful parts so late. This is available after Orobas so you have Invert.
 +
 +  * Plunder Ring x2
 +  * Valkyrie Dress
 +  * Ribbon
 +  * Flame Scarf
 +  * Fortune + Godsend Tome
 +  * Greatsword Mastery
 +  * Deathbringer level3
 +
+For a Shard version just replace with:
 +  * Faerie Scarf
 +  * Augment Int
 +  * Va Ischa
 +  * 8-Bit Fire Ball
 +
 +----
